MY STORY - LEAH CLARKE


After completing my degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University, I wasn't quite sure what career I wanted to pursue. I always loved the idea of becoming a Personal Trainer, but at the time I could never have imagined myself being one as I didn’t think I had the body shape and I certainly didn’t have the right diet! Once I moved home In summer 2019 I decided to do something about the insecurities I had.


I’m extremely lucky to have had a mum and aunt who are both Personal Trainers and were able to guide me on the right path of nutrition and weight management. It wasn’t easy at first, but once the results started to come I became more confident and felt motivated to keep going. It was during this journey I realised that personal training was the career for me, I fell in love with the gym, training and fuelling my body with the right foods whilst still enjoying what I was eating. I wanted to make other woman feel as confident and happy as I did so from there I completed my personal training qualifications and haven't looked back since.
